About the Board

Martin Traynor OBE is the Chair of the Economy and Skills Group and Charnwood Together.

Andy Reed OBE is the director of Sajelmpact, an organisation that offers a wide variety of bespoke support and advice for sport bodies, NGBs, social enterprises and faith charities, making sure their strategies and communications are effective with the key stakeholders in their sector and bringing social transformation projects to life.

He is also the Chair of Leicester & Leicestershire Business and Skills Partnership.

Cllr Jewel Miah is Leader of Charnwood Borough Council.

Lez Cope-Newman is the Chair of Love Loughborough Business Improvement District and Freeman of the Borough.

Cllr Deborah Taylor has been a Leicestershire County Council since 2017. Deborah is currently acting Leader and Lead Member for Children & Families, Community Safety and Regulatory Services. She is also a Charnwood Borough Councillor and a trustee of Bradgate Park and Swithland Wood Charity.

Cllr Tillotson is Charnwood Borough Council's Lead Member for Economic Development, Regeneration and Town Centres.

Heather Clarke is the Deputy Principal and representative on the Board for Loughborough College.

Jeevun Sandher is the MP for Loughborough.

David Pagett-Wright is a retired Solicitor and former Practice Manager at Moss Solicitors LLP. David is also Chair of the Town Deal Community Engagement Group, Chair of The Generator Loughborough CIC and Vice-Chair of Love Loughborough BID.

Dr Robert Harland is a Reader in Urban Graphic Heritage in the School of Design and Creative Arts at Loughborough University. He joined Loughborough University in 2008 having spent time at two other Universities in the East Midlands. Before that, he worked as a design consultant in London’s creative industries for 15 years.

Charles Bentley is Managing Director of Charles Bentley & Son Ltd.
